Plans are now full steam ahead for our next trip and hopefully exciting progress for Smileawi. On Thursday Nigel and Vicky along with our 7th Dentaid chair will fly to Malawi and for the next 2 weeks travel around the North visiting the dental therapists we are trying to support. Our aim and our hope is to gain an insight into what services they provide and how we can help them to improve. We know they are gravely underfunded and have very little support and we envisage that by producing clear ideas of what they need we can return to Scotland and try to find dental practices to twin with our Malawian colleagues.
