Smileawi Spanners Spectacular Dowhill Bogie Run

Announcing a not to be missed event to help raise funds for smileawi Spanners taking place at Dunoon Stadium on Saturday 1st June 2019.
Registration will begin at 10am and entered vehicles will be carefully checked over by event mechanics to ensure the safety of the spectators, drivers and events crew.
Runs will begin at 12pm.
Bogie regulations are as follows:
Bogies must be an automobile type vehicle, without an engine or any means or propulsion, twin axle four-wheel design. The vehicle must be driven using a steering wheel and have brakes of some description acting on at least two wheels on the same axle. No brakes by friction on the ground. All drivers must wear crash helmets whilst inside the bogie

Bobcar
Max length - 2500mm (bodywork included)
Max width - 1200mm (bodywork and wheels included)
Max Height - 650mm (from the ground, roll bar not included)
Min wheel-track - 650mm (between inflated tyres on level ground)
Max weight - 400kg (including driver)

Soapbox
Max length - 2300mm (Without attachment points)
Max width - 1200mm
Min wheel base - 900mm
Min wheel-track - 500mm (between inflated tyres on level ground)
Max weight - 200kg
Entry £50 per team.
